Fraser Valley Real Estate Report – March

Here are the latest real estate market statistics from Macdonald Realty for the Fraser Valley listings and sales in March 2017.

 

Langley

In the Langley market, the benchmark sale price was $875,300 for detached homes. At the end of March, there were 203 active listings and 149 sales.

The condo market had 108 sales and 97 active listings. The benchmark sale price was $291,000.

Townhomes featured 112 sales, 70 active listings and a $440,000 benchmark sale price.

It’s a seller’s market in Langley for all product types.

 

North Delta

In the North Delta market, the benchmark sale price was $820,000 for detached homes. At the end of March, there were 123 active listings and 60 sales.

The condo market had 11 sales and 12 active listings. The benchmark sale price was $215,700.

Townhomes featured 9 sales, 13 active listings and a $497,800 benchmark sale price.

It’s a seller’s market in North Delta.

North Surrey

In March 2017, there were 95 sales of detached homes and 276 active listings in North Surrey. The benchmark sale price was $826,800.

The condo market had 180 sales and 179 active listings at the end of the month.  The benchmark sale price was $256,600.

In comparison, townhome sales were 36, active listings were 38 and the benchmark sale price was $364,500.

It’s a seller’s market in North Surrey.

Surrey – Central

In the Surrey – Central market, there were 174 sales of detached homes and 372 active listings at the end of the month.  The benchmark sale price was $876,600.

In comparison, the condo market had 51 sales, 63 active listings, and the benchmark sale price was $254,400.

Townhome market featured 149 sales, 143 active listings and a $456,900 benchmark sale price.

It’s a seller’s market in Surrey Central.

White Rock/South Surrey

There were 117 sales, 481 active listings, and a $1,447,100 benchmark sale price for detached homes in the White Rock/South Surrey market.

The condo market featured 129 sales, 118 active listings and a benchmark sale price of $361,600 at the end of the month.

In comparison, townhome sales were 86, active listings were 105 and the benchmark sale price was $582,800.

It’s a seller’s market for condos and townhomes.
