Over the long weekend we headed up to our friends place in Naramata, BC in the Okanagan. It’s the second time I’ve been up there and I just love it. The desert like terrain, gorgeous lake and wineries make for a perfect romantic getaway. We usually stop somewhere for lunch and then go wine tastings along the Naramata Bench. There are lots of wineries to choose from so we always try to hit up something new each visit. This trip we stopped and had lunch at Joie, and picked up a bottle of 2015 Pinot Blanc. Next we headed over to check out the view from the tower at Hillside and left with a bottle of 2012 Gamay Noir. Then onto Tightrope where I finally found a Rose that wasn’t too sweet for me. Our final stop was at Bench 1775. They have the most stunning patio and their 2015 Sauvignon Blanc was definitely my favourite of the day.
